The homeowners wanted a slow-living retreat that balanced old-world charm with the breathtaking natural beauty of Mukteshwar. Their dream was a home that felt like a European countryside villa—light-filled, romantic, and rooted in natural textures—where every corner could host a memory with family and friends.
Design Concept
We envisioned Vanshivat as a hilltop Mediterranean hideaway—infused with classic detailing, curated heirloom touches, and a warmth that welcomes. Aged stone cladding, archways wrapped in gold leaf, white cane-back chairs, and vintage chandeliers create a soulful aesthetic that is both luxurious and lived-in. The glass-wrapped sunroom opens to mountain views, while the soft curves of the sofas and wood-beamed ceilings anchor the interiors in timeless comfort. It’s a space that feels collected over time, designed to be savored slowly.
